Indoor Golf Lessons in Lafayette: Why Practicing on TrackMan Works.
Most golfers practice the same way: a bucket of balls, a few swings that feel good, a few that do not, and no real idea why. Indoor lessons on a TrackMan simulator change that.
Your eyes can’t see impact. TrackMan can.
The whole flight of the ball is decided in a tiny moment at impact. Nobody can see clearly what happened in that moment, not you and not a coach standing beside you. TrackMan measures it on every swing: where the clubface pointed, which direction the club was traveling, how fast the ball left, and how much it spun.
That turns “it felt off” into “your face was open to your path,” which is something you can fix.
Weather never cancels
Rob Boldt Golf is indoors at 3330 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette. Rain in January or 100 degrees in August, your lesson happens on schedule.
More than a launch monitor
Rob pairs TrackMan with Swing Catalyst pressure plates, which show how your weight shifts. Together they show both what the ball did and what your body did to cause it. Rob’s approach is basics first: grip, stance and ball position come before anything else.
Data plus 40 years of experience
Numbers alone do not fix a swing. Somebody has to know which number matters for you and what drill will change it. Rob has more than 40 years in golf, including the Northern California Junior Championship in 1979 and an amateur course record 64 at Pebble Beach the same year. He blends classic teaching with what the technology shows.
You take it home
Every lesson ends with a TrackMan video of what you worked on, sent to you afterward, so practice between lessons has a purpose.
